By PoE do you mean Power over Ethernet? Yeah, there's soo much lightning in my area that I daren't try sticking my UTD up a pole - often get damn close lightning strikes - one of the reasons I originally opted for a wireless connection instead of ADSL...jmn said:Well, that would remove all iBurst problems for the user...![]()
Speaking of lighting, how susceptible are the base stations to it. The reason I ask is because we've had a few thunderstorms this year in Cape Town and this morning out of the blue we had lighting strike our building (I think it did - it was blooming loud!) which has an iburst base station on it. I was a bit worried about it but it still works
