I just received 35 e-mails, all delivered at once. These e-mails had all been sent off ranging between 3 Dec 2009 and today. I remember losing some of my e-mails too which I sent during December.

Have the iBurst servers finally been sorted out, hence the back-log delivery, or is this how it's going to be from now on?

iBurst seems to reek of incompetence lately. They need a massive campaign to regain the trust from their users again. The last 6 months have been FAIL after FAIL after FAIL.

I was hoping their new CEO van Zyl would change things. Unfortunately its gone from good service to "a joke".

Any late Christmas wishes? :D

The mail server was on leave at the time.

All will be back from leave at the end of the month, including iBoss.

LOL - yes quite a few! But the ones which bothered me; leaving me with egg on the face, were the ones sent by people I accused of not responding to my e-mail queries / follow-ups sent. Not everyone believed me when I told them that iBurst had server problems. I mean, come on - you could only tell that story once and the next time you'd better come up with a better excuse. Shame on iBurst!:o

One question, why the hell are you relying on an ISP for your email requirements when you can use Gmail?

I hope you didn't miss out on important matters like a business contract or miss a deadline because of it. When I was in the screen-printing industry, we had been given the go-ahead to print a batch of bumper stickers regarding road safety for the festive season. Only we didn't receive the go-ahead E-mail as it was sent to a E-mail account we no longer used. On the day of deadline the company asked where their bumper stickers was. We never got the job again.

Gmail = Free. Any idiot can get. Besides Gmail filters your email and I definately wouldn't send anything confidential to a Gmail/Hotmail or any other free address. They never delete it either. Oh and if something goes wrong, who you gonna call?

JeanetteR,
Please PM me the email header of one of the delayed message and we'll see where it was stuck.

Ronald, thanks, but I think my e-mails got stuck in webmail's spam filter, as all those e-mails were marked with the word SPAM in the subject line. I checked some of the headers and there is no indication that I only received it on the 15th of Jan 2010. When the e-mail was sent for example on
26 December 2009, it reflects the same date as being delivered.
