it seems x1800xt is top dawg.

I would not say that. the ATI cards are more expensive and are not fast enough for the premium you pay. The X1800XT is also heavy on power and has a huge 2 slot cooler compared to the single slot 7800GTX.

Will stick to Nvidia thanks.

Not impressed at all with Ati's new offerings.
