Had a reply from Telkom in connection with my query on the per Gig billing, here we go. :D

Thank you for your communication. The launch date has not been confirmed as yet. This product may only be launch from late Dec 2005 to Jan 2006 (please note maybe). The whole product change has not been made available because it’s still in development stage and more comments on this matter and new product range can not be provided at this time.

A communication will be distributed to all @telkomsa.net e-mail addresses closer to the time when everything has been sorted out.

If any more queries or questions please don’t hesitate to consult me.

Or do we have Papi actually taking action as promised?

I don't buy the "in development" spin - they sent detailed specs to the ISP's.

Nov 1 was cast in concrete. Now it is no longer.

Sorry, but the more I read this, the more I read face saving - delay and forget tactics.
 
Sigh. Telkom have so much potential with ADSL but they're throwing it all in the water.

It not only about the 30 Gig. LoL its about hard capping and paying international rates for local surfing, and shutting Your line after the 3 Gig, read my lips...NO SLOW BROWSING OR DOWNLOADS.. NOTHING. Unless you go to IS IsP's, Maybe Telkom is backtracking for fear of competition
