What would it take to get some copies of this story in the papers?

Alos: Great article, when I have a bit of free time I will look further at the site. It seems quite interesting!
 
You win a media "war" by getting your supporters to adopt an effective phrase and then have them use it over and over again, until it sticks in the public mind-set (think John Kerry as a "flip-flopper").

I think we need to adopt the phrase "Digital Apartheid".

Its probably the one term that will resonate with everyone.
 
Well, thats exactly what it is 'Digital Apartheid'. Between South Africa and other countries ans well as within South Africa itself.
 
Reading yesterday's speech at the WSIS in Tunisia by Thabo Mbeki, I felt that his speech sounded like it just went about digital apartheid although the word itself was never used. The blame however wasn't given to Telkom but a warning given to the world to make sure that developing nations weren't left behind. Nothing was said about what South Africa itself should do.

The gap is constantly widening while the fools in government do nothing yet they have the stones to proclaim its the responsibility of the developing nations not to let the gap widen!

When I first heard the term "Digital Apartheid" used by Ian Fraser in his excellent article about ADSL pricing, I knew I had to add my 2 cents. Mainly because the public seems to think that it's only a few disgruntled "wit-ous" that are affected by high telecoms pricing.
As a smally wannabe Internet entrepreneur, Telkom is crippling the growth of my fledgling online community Bruin-ou.com, cos 99% of the people don't have Internet access at home.
Digital Apartheid should definitely become the new mantra when describing Telkom.
 
Which button do we need to press to get "Digital Apartheid" out in to the real world?
Paper and TV Journalists need to start using it.

Just had a thought of someone driving into the telkom head office with it written on the side of their car, like ET did. ;0P
