Hench a Telkom failure on the ATM between Cape Town and Rosebank, there will be slow speeds until this is resolved on the IS network.

This only affects IS apparently, but who knows, probably SAIX aswell.

Telkom also took down a 45Mbit link from IS for error testing.

If Telkom were paid for every failure they have had in recent months it would dwarf even their profits.

Sometimes people are in a rush and have lots of things to do and then spallieng are just the laast thieng that are thoughted about, i doo it oftenn also as well!
 
LMAO .... C'MON why point out spelling mistakes? The message got its point across .... the message was not intended to be published in any magazine it was for our benefit ....

Remember the late Tony Factor? he could not spell? but he was a great businessman ...

Why do MD's and CEO's have secretaries? .. to correct their spelling mistakes and their sentence structure (grammar) ...

The man goes out of his way to let us know there is a problem and what do u do? You criticise his spelling. All I can do is shake my head.

I try and edit within 30 seconds cos then it doesnt have the 'last edited by' thing :D
 
my saix connection here in cape town is sucky and yucky. if you are not downloading with a download manager you gonna waste alot of bandwidth cause it keeps dieing completely and speeds fluctuate alot right now..

oh mine sorted itself out soon afterwards. wierd.

OMG.

ADSL is sooo slow.

The only site that seems to work well is MyADSL. ;)

Anyone know how much longer this problem is going to go on?
We have users countrywide that are reporting IS authentication issues, anyone have similar problems?
 
No Auth issues, IS is slowly coming back on track shouldnt be to long still.

Bellville seems back to normal.
 
Please, just ignore PostmanPot. Give him his hour, and please send him some posts and emails. He seem to be a very sad and lonely person, with nothing better to do than running his spell checker.
