Hi there, hot GW last night, installed the game, loaded the first area (had to leave my pc throught the night, as I am on a wisp and getting 8kb/s). So I am in the town and walking around, but are there any .za guys that would like to link up and do quests and stuff. I am only level 1 and still very "green" in the game.

I wouldn't worry about hooking up at level one. The first few levels are very easy to solo and then you get into the real game with everyone else. (You are in a seperate "pre-game" area until level 6 or so.

twiga, PM me with your ingame name if you want an invite to this SA guild:

The GougedEye says, these first areas are more for you to get to know the game. It is basically a training ground. Most of the quests you can easily and probably should do on your own. There are two quests for which you need to hook up with somebody else (stated in the quest requirements), but you should not have problems finding somebody in Ascelon city for them. I tend to leave them for last, just before doing the first mission that results in the searing.

When you are about level 6 or 7, then it is time to do the first mission. The other .za people cannot join you in pre-searing, except if they create a new character as well. Pre-searing is completely seperate from post-searing, probably to prevent all kinds of funny stuff like high level weapons and lots of gold in pre-searing.

Nice,

Ok gkm, will pm you when I hit level 6/7, hopefully it won't take to long.

MrJones: Sorry, never played WoW, the reason I went for GuildWars is: 1. This is the first MMO I am playing, 2. No subscription

twiga, you can join now. No need to wait until you are level 6. That way, if you are stuck somewhere, there is a good chance some guildie(s) will be online to at least answer questions, even if they cannot reach the area where you are playing.

I've also got a guild running (only two members though ;) ) Ubuntu Africa ... maybe we all can join and kick some Charr butt ... he he

We are about 30 to 40 members in the guild, but I have not counted recently. Of that about 15 is fairly active. I expect that will pick up again when the next chapter is released in two months or so.

We usually have a guild night on Wednesdays. We can send you a guest invite some day if you want.

What is your guild's name, and tag? I just quit my overseas guild cos they never did any GvG. Which server are you on?

Our guild is "The Southern Storm" aka TSS. We do not do any GvG as well. GvG tends to be done by guilds that specialize in that. We are on the euro servers.
