A Friend of mine collects old PC's and bits ect and fixes them up and gives them to children's homes At the moment his sitting with nothing...Last week I met a kid around 11 years old and his younger sister who's father is disabled and they live on his pension...We got talking and he asked me whether I could build a PC for him and his sister for school Projects ect...He told me that someone had promised him a year ago that they would build it for him...But to this day no machine...He was given a motherboard, 2 harddrives and a box without the power supply (Probably by the same person)...I asked him to bring it to me and see what we can do...Now I checked the motherboard and the Harddrives ect all are shot!...I'm asking you out there if there's anyone throwing out old usable stuff that they don't use please could you PM me I will collect...If your'e not willing to give it away and want to sell it PM me...If for any reason I get more parts than we need to build a PC for this kid , I will pass it on to my IT friend who'll use what he can to continue supporting childrens homes...I unfortunetly am also disabled and cannot spend a lot of money from scratch for this kid...Now the only dissapointment is I might have to say to him that I cannot do it...For a start it can be anything P3 or so...I'm going to make the first donation by contributing one of my Harddrives(20 gig)...As I've mentioned I don't expect it for nothing unless your'e giving it away ...But Please don't try to sell me stuff that costs thousands because there is no way I can afford it....Many Thanks
