Got an MTN contract due to be renewed in less than a week and I really want the Galaxy Nexus!
I mailed samsung and vodacom. Samsung replied and stated they couldnt provode me with a date. Still waiting on a reply from vodacom. Will update as soon as they reply but not getting my hopes up.

Phoning my local shop tomorow and telling him he should qiuckly order me one of the 9, same day dilevery. He keeps kn telling me vodacom still didnt release the phone...

Samsung don't do contracts\upgrades as far as I'm aware so had to by cash, was R6600 which is not too bad.

I must say that I wasn't too impressed with ICS when I first started using it. My previous phone was a Galaxy S (not rooted) and maybe I was just used to Touchwiz and knew how it worked....but after a few days with ICS, I'm quite impressed with how easy it is to navigate around the phone, send SMS's etc. The more I use it, the more things I find!
Was also worried about the size, the Galaxy S is nearly as big as the screen for the Galaxy Nexus! Again, after some use it feels very easy to use and I don't feel the extra size when it's in my pocket either. I must add that I HAD to show a few iPhone 4S users in the office, lets just say they were VERY jealous of the size
. After playing with the Galaxy Nexus and then going back to the 4S, they were commenting how cramped the 4S felt because of the small screen
