ICASA schedules ADSL hearings

Speakers? or councillors? If it is speakers then there can't be a conflict of interest as they are speaking either on their own behalf or on behalf of an organisation. They have no decision making powers so they can say what they want.
 
One of the speakers is not speaking anymore I see ... Not sure if it is related.

Translated as "The Independent Communications Authority of SA (ICASA) has set final dates for its yearly Tea and Cake Party, stating they will take place on 24and 25 May.
 
I am hoping DoC has their moment in the spotlight before this gets underway, that way any changes can be debated imediately / affect regulation ideas instead of forcing it into another round of debate and cake. I hope they get it right this time, we already been waiting for dunno how many months this yr and its going to 2007. 2ndly Icasa better be implementing these, instead of Telkom etc showing them the finger and doing as they please.
