Comparison of ADSL under new regulation

The ADSL tarrif structure was 1. ADSL line rental (monthly), 2. Phone line rental (monthly), 3. ISP (monthly). One could get a shaped (port prioritisation) or unshaped, capped or uncapped even local web sites

Under the new regulation the tarrif structure is 1. Installation fee (once), 2. Monthly rental, 3. Bandwith (is this what one pays to the ISP). No port prioritisation, no capping on local web sites.

Is my understanding correct.
 
There is a provisioning monthly cost which is not too well defined, me thinks this my just be the renaming of adsl rental :(

so is there no more phone line rental? i.e we pay ~R90 less..? does this apply if we use the line to make calls..?

Firstly WHERE are you getting this info from.... as i cant seem to find it anywhere.

Secondly they are referring to the adsl line rental as stated by icasa in a myadsl news bulletin on the main page.

It doesnt state whether its the line rental refers to the adsl line rental or the anologue line rental... This is a very vague statement by icasa an telkom will surely exploit its vagueness.
