The copying off media phenomenon his was referring to was only sorted in 10.3 as far as I can remember. The work around was pretty simple though IIRC - just holding the option key while dragging and dropping.Ya, sounds very strange/unfamiliar. Was he not talking about some Mac OS previous to OS X (i.e OS 7, 8 or 9)
Some of those Mac applications crash quite easily - iMovie for one. Have they fixed that yet.EDIT - and since we're on the subject of crashing - I cannot remember when my last system crash was. I doubt I have even one per year on any of my laptops.

DittoMy Windows system also never crashes, except if I overclock too much (which woudl be my fault).
