Nuremberg - World Cup 2006 organising committee president Franz Beckenbauer said on Tuesday organisers of the next tournament in South Africa in 2010 are facing serious problems.

"The organisation for the World Cup in South Africa is beset by big problems," Beckenbauer said.

"But these are not South African problems, these are African problems. People are working against rather than with each other."

Well I'm glad they're 'african problems ' - and not 'south african' problems - because we know who or what will be blamed.
