41.241.0.0/16 - New
41.242.0.0/16 - New
41.243.0.0/16 - New
41.244.0.0/16 - New

huh? they currently have 262k IP's and they're getting more, so they are probably close to exceeding the present limits.

you must remember that some people make multiple connections on one adsl line so that does not necessarily mean we have that many users.. at the same time not everyone remains connected 24hrs a day with a router.
 
Ive actually been connected 24hours day for a while now and last 2 or 3months ive had a static ip the entire time, so much easier without having to update dns to nameservers for domain name...

Does that mean that if someone makes more than one account connection (using a different account [i.e. different username and password] in each instance) via the same ADSL line at the same time he will get a different IP address for each connection?

Telkom (SAIX) has more IP's than the ones stated at the start of the tread.. A WHOIS lookup revealed the following:

41.240.0.0 - 41.247.255.255

This block has been registered in there name by Afrinic !!!
 
ok, but maybe they using the remainder for something else.

Shaped account lines seem to be 41.xx for me and the Unshaped account lines 165.xx
 
ah interesting. I was wondering what 165.* was gonna be used for.
