major grabit problem help me plz

i download around 1.3gig last night when i looked in download folder there was nothing and there was 2 gig in the cache folder but i could open the files?


anyone else had this problem?
 
2 things are stored in in the Cache folder:
cache\groupdata\ = group list & message structure for your subscribed groups
cache\articles\ = articles currently being downloaded
 
ya i know this hehe but before i reloaded windows when grabit finished a file it was in my download folder

grabit said i had download 1.8 gig but there was nothing in my download folder and my cache folder was 2 gig in size does it make sense?

doesnt make sense to me
 
Had exactly the same problem this weekend, still don't know what it was though. Uninstalled, deleted the original folder rebooted and reinstalled about 3 times before getting it to work.

The problem is that grabit doesnt decode some files if you havent refreshed your grouplist. Download yenc and use it to encode (or is it decode) the files that are in your cache folder. Also make sure you refresh your grouplist by right clicking on the news server icon in grabit and clicking "refresh grouplist"
 
My one file just doesnt want to decode :/ but hey, doesnt matter not a majour problem just going to have to wait for all the files to finnish in my queue
