Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas

I have the game - and it's awesome. Last night I saved some hostages held in a Vegas Casino and tonight I hope to save Dr Smyth. I was disappointed with the previous release, Rainbow Six Lockdown (R6 "Letdown") - but this one is Rainbow Six at its best again. Definitely worth buying. The graphics and reality of the game is excellent. The AI is very good (to me much improved over GRAW - although it uses the same engine). When I'm through with "normal" I'm going to try realistic mode - which is very tough (and realistic) according to reports I've read. You can read reviews on gamespot.com and gamerankings.com.

Sell/swop? Not likely as expansion packs may come our way.
 
I'm kinda stuck in World of Warcraft mode, I can only play something for 10 minutes, till I go back to old reliable. But I here it's awesome!

The one negative issue I have with this game is the swearing/profanity. I can understand that terrorists would swear a lot - and that the developers would want to make the game as realistic as possible. But to me it's not required to make a game feel real - and I feel the developers have gone overboard on this in Vegas. But swearing sells well these days :-(. If you can't absorb swearing/profanity you should stay away from this game, or set the voice volume right down :-(
 
... and please play Vegas with headphones! Unless your family, friends and neighbours are of a coarser nature themselves you will get into much trouble playing Vegas on speakers. If you are a teenage rebel in an old conservative houshold this is the formula for havoc.

got like 5 discs and didnt need to enter serial no.s... lol

Ok so its a little old. But so is my pc

Anyway i dont think i like it. Its a bit hard. And secondly i dislike it when your with a team. I like to go out there and do things myself, which i do in solo mode.

cost me R99.00

Not that I can find. I so wish there was such an option because it irritates me to listen to the same foul soundbites over and over. This is my only major gripe with the game.

There must be a parental gaurd thing in the game. i will have a look and let you know

I doubt it as it is rated 16. The developers seem to marker R6 as an adults only series now. I will not allow my kids to be exposed to such language. Some would argue that the violence in the game is as bad as the language and that I should not consider the one worse than the other. Somehow, for me, the violence is tame compared to the language.
