Sure these guys will probably get arrested due to the high profiles and social media storm around it... And released a few weeks later due to poor policing, corrupt officials or some of the usual reasons.
What next? In the studio?
Gonna be the laughing stock of youtube now,
Sa so unsafe, while filming a A LIVE REPORT get mugged, shameful, just shameful
Riots in parliment, celebs getting away with murder, and now this, no wonder sa got such a bad rating overseas.....
I notice the good news crowd have been very scarce of late with all that has been going on in the slow motion train wreck that is the new SA. Hard to spin this kind of thing. But...but...news crews get robbed on live tv all over the world! NOT.
In future they should have a security detail. That intersection isn't a safe one. Why didn't they hijack the broadcasting van while they were at it. I didn't see no firearm I was under the impression it was guys working for the production. Telling him here is your marker.
Let this be a lesson don't film during the night at a bad intersection. Smash and happen way too frequently in the area.
