Anti Telkom ad (video)

Everyone getting Fuc....ed by Telkom..

 This ad must be shown on SABC and DSTV at peak times during the day, when everyone is in front of their TV's..

He He He...

"Telcumm" The bad spot on SA's pants...:D

You guys make me luagh!!! :D :p

But if that hellkom website did nothing but detour you from frustration, not even this add will work.

What all the telkom hostages should do, is to go "wireless" for a few months to boycott telkom. Telkom is "wires"... if nobody uses wires, they don't have nottin. Then when Telkom DSL collapses, and a more realistic international partners buy rights on the wired network, then everybody gets back on wired DSL... Think is it as somebody pee's in the pool. Everybody's out, till the "yellow-green" is gone... Telkom users should stop complaining about- and supporting telkom, and get another connection. Especially in the Gauteng CPT area's... If PTA, JHB and CPT goes wireless, (Of which the infrastructure will support it) Telkom will fall... Atleast the Internet devision will...

Except that all the wireless providers still use Telkom's infrastructure... so it won't help all that much :(

Hell I would definately contribute to broadcast this ad. It would probably go against our ASA laws in SA though. :( Then again if its primarily from the public and not competitive in nature it should fall under freedom of speech shouldn't it??

Do they have a more high def version for big screens??

Anything to get back at Telscum ey :)

Hmmmm .. who is telecom?
I love the disclaimer. I like the use of kids.

Anyways ... the ad talks about confusion, and then goes and throws stones at teklom, but ... the other guilty parties here are the President, the Department of Communications and the teeth lacking bum smacking ICASA.

I think they should all be hauled over the grillz good and propper.

I like the Advert, but kids swearing is really scraping the bottom of the barrel - no better than Telkom :-( its a tactic I would expect from Telkom.

Sorry Antitrust, thumbs down for that Advert from me.

I agree RichardP.. but if it was like real life, every one of those kids would be swearing...

looking at schools of today, me being in Matric right now, I came to this conclusion.

I dont swear and hate the idea of the use of such language, but youth of today are much worse than the advert.

Granted what I just said, I do see where you are coming from.

I can agree with you 200%, but using swearing kids just weakens your argument and credibility. The Art of advertising is how to make people remember the advert... a catchy phrase or such.. can anyone who watched the above advert remember a complete sentence? or just swearing? .. All I remember is "Antitrust , Kids, F**k". I bet the actual message was to show Telkoms numbers, and make you remember them :-)

Disclaimer: this is my opinion :-)
