Navteq & Destinator maps of South Africa

Let me say that they are totally inaccurate. I planned a route and found that
  1. Newcastle is now Ladysmith
  2. Ladysmith is now Harrysmith, and the N11 goes there...
  3. Most of the route numbers in KZN where wrong
I noticed this because I planned (well tried to) a scenic route from Secunda to Durbs, and according to the software going the scenic route would be over 150km shorter than going via the N3.... :eek:

oh and there site has a function to report these problems, and it does not work LMAO

Well it goes back tomorrow morning, lucky I tested :D
 
I am trying to find the site to download South Africa's updated maps. I just bought myself a NAV-3510. Please help me
 
Where did you get it?

Who did you get the navteq / destinator maps from in SA? I can only find in UK.
 
Im all over the place depending on what I need at that moment... Next week will probably be Mythtv week...
 
I found NAVTEQ and TELEFUNKEN, navteq send me to the dealer/supplier, the telefunken GPS's are supplied solely by NU-WORLD Technologies and they said they are only releasing updates at the end of november on their website, their PDF info is available at http://www.nuworld.co.za/Access-to-Information_30-08-2005.pdf if you want to call them yourself. I asked NAVTEQ if i can start working for them part-time since i'm driving around alot and also find a few wrong names etc.
