Why is it R700 to transfer my ADSL???

I just called now (10219) and I am moving within my block and to transfer the ADSL it will cost me R437 PLUS R250 for the phone line? Does this make any sense? Has anyone else done this recently?

So where I stand, I could cancel the DSL but I have to give 30 days notice (that costs me R500 already as I am moving in June 1st) and then apply for the self install option. I still have to pay for the line installation anyway so it ends up the same.

THIS IS FRICKEN CRAZY!!!!
 
They are not supposed to charge you when moving. I just moved and it didnt cost me a cent. I also didnt know about the 1 month notice for ADSL, so Im also going to be paying for a month that I wont be using.:mad:
