I approve of this post, and it works like a charm.

Please sticky :)

Oh wow... after months of searching, posting and general screaming this finally fixed it! You rock my socks!!!

Howzit guys, I have Telkom ADSL with a 3GB cap, I'm on the Euro servers & have Windows SP2 using Internet Explorer.

My problem is ever since purchasing WoW last yr, I cannot log into the forums. I've tried using their online tech support but to no avail.

I've just tried what was recommended in this post & all it does when I enter my WoW Username & Password, is take me back to the page I was in prior to logging in & I am prompted to enter my Account Name & Password again.

If anyone has a fix for this, asseblief help me!

Oh & Horde FTW :p

Are you sure you did it 100% the way it was explained above? I had the exact same problem and mine was fixed.

Hey there! I'm quite positive that I'm doing it the right way. I think it might be a browser setting. I'm grabbing FireFox & will give it a try on that...

Here are the screenshots to what I've done. If someone can please shed some light on this, you'll make me a very happy chappy! :D

Thanks for the input!

Hi! Sorry for having to bump this, but if someone can help me find a possible solution I'd be gratefull.

Its become frustrating as hell, not being able to log into something where you've invested money & time into...

Thanks!

It was working for months now....
Today I awoke and the Saix is giving me "permission denied". Please help , i need to bump up recruitment threads on the wow forum , its very important.

here is the exact message i get:

Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control policy.

Thanks in advance :)

Internet is acting very weird today with its speeds. Do other international sites work or is it just WOW giving that error?

I only get that error when i take my pc (that has the saix proxy) and put it on a non-saix line (ie my friends line)...

Thanks for the responses :)

When I use the saix proxy, nothing works - international or local just giving me the error quoted above,( it was working fine a couple of days ago).

With regards to Optioncarduser, I have a Cybersmart ADSL account. Not sure if its a saix or non-saix line.

Maybe Saix has put a measure in place to check authentication to prevent piggyback riding.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a work around ? I love posting on the forum , and I'm a very sad chappie now :(

Thanks for the responses :)

If SAIX did not have such messures in place they would have an open proxy... which in general is a bad thing to have.
