Hey guys,
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but I really need some help with this topic.
I'm looking in to buying a PS3, but unfortunately I don't own a HDTV
So, the next obvious choice is to run it off my LCD, using a HDMI to DVI converter Cable.
Now using this idea, i thought that it should work and everything would be fine then.
BUT, today I was looking a bit further into it, and apparently it won't work if your monitor doesn't support HDCP. The monitor just won't pick up the signal from the PS3.
Now is this really the case? or am I missing something?
Aside from running it on a normal TV, is there any other way to get the PS3 to work on a LCD monitor, without having to purchase a new one?
(btw. I have a Samsung Syncmaster 930B monitor) if that helps
I would really appreciate the help
Thanx in advance
