Has anybody been able to find the Nokia Mobile Holder CR-48 locally?

It's a fairly new phone in SA so I think you might just have to wait a bit for the accessory market to catch up a bit. You could maybe try the nokia universal holder if it's urgent.
Its not urgent, I just like to have one. The universal holder is also expensive & I'll rather spend my money on the CR-48. It incorporates a jack for the car charger at the bottom of the holder, while the jack on the phone slots into the top of the holder, I believe.
There are so many accessory shops around & they mainly sell junk.
I was right the official release date for the CR-48 cradle was the 15th August 2007.
My pre-ordered CR-48 arrived this morning from blueunplugged in the UK and it was well worth the wait and the ÂŁ14.95 I paid for it.(Yes, ÂŁ14.95 as the pre-order price was wrong)
First impressions of the CR-48, very nice, very clean, very smart looking design.
The phone holding mechanism is well thought out. Place the phone in the holder, press it back and it latches in place firmly (it uses the two holes at the top and bottom of the 6110 case). Press two buttons on the side of the cradle and it ejects nicely.
With the phone in the holder its still possible operate the slider to access the keyboard. The phone is spaced out the holder slightly so that you can still hear voice navigation from the rear speaker on the 6110.
One MAJOR advantage with the Nokia CR-48 cradle (as opposed to 3rd party cradles/adapters) is that it can supply DC power to the phone whilst in the holder. A connector is available (like the power connector on the 6110 itself) to plug in a car charger. You have to buy the car charger separately as it doesn't come with it!! I bought the Nokia DC-4 Car Charger.
In terms of mounting brackets. Basically you get a stumpy mounting bracket that screws to the rear of the CR-48 using one screw. The stumpy bracket has four screw holes for attaching to the car and a low profile multi-axis swivel joint builtin so you can adjust the cradle angle for clear visibility whilst driving.
With the single screw hole on the back of the CR-48 cradle its possible to use a windscreen mount in place of the stumpy mounting bracket. I've order a Nokia HH-12 Universal Windscreen Adapter for mine today. Incorportating a single screw hole, it would be pretty simple to make any other adapter if you have special mounting requirements (mounting elsewhere within your car or even on a bike).
As information from Nokia is sparse, I hope this helps
If anyone needs any further information, please post back.
Jon

Same here, hopefully Chris from Exactmall will come through for me.
Yesterday he promised to get in touch with me this morning. Still waiting....
I spoke to Chris at eXactmall, after speaking to European Telecom Africa, one of the major Nokia OEM importers (Celcom are useless), the following cradles are available
CR-23
CR-27
CR-28
CR-34
CR-39
CR-42
CR-43
CR-44
CR-45
CR-82
CR-47
CR-56

No CR-48 as yet, not sure if any of the above are suitable, need to check around on the net, prices range from about R 249 up to R 379,
Will have them up on eXactmall once clarified
The CR-48 is phone specific for the 6110 Navigator.
