local upload - where ?

apart form the silly bandwidth costs, is there still a local somewhere upload ?

-i see all incoming is 775 nowadays ;)

i was wanting to upload u3 demo for the local only ppl....
 
k.... doing multipart - takes me back to modem and those 100 1.44mb files ;)
 
Is there some kind soul with uncapped/large local account that would upload the HL2:EP2 and Portal GCF's to the uunet ftp?

I have not much international cap left to download them through steam :(
 
You asking someone to upload to copyright material to uunet :eek:

I don't think uunet would take too kindly to that - next thing the dmca will be knocking on their door.
 
hmm. Its not like anybody can really use the GCF's unless they have paid for the game :rolleyes:

I just want the line speed of my shell to be local, 2x 155Mbit lines FTW.
There is just something special about watching stuff come down at 5mbps :D

Dunno about that. HL2 gcf can be decrypted, unless they changed EP2 encryption radically.
