DSL down in Cpt(Claremont)?

I have DSL active on my router, but both my Openweb and TeslkumInternet accounts wont connect, anyone else having issues in this area?

At least ye old faithful GPRS is working...
 
Yep, work for an ISP..

In hermanus at the moment - Had two clients already phone me from Claremont - DSL down...appears the ADSL line has synced...but PPP is failing...
 
Same here - also on Claremont exchange tried 2 accts no luck.

In rondebosch live near golden grove - more claremont/kenilworth than rondebosch but we have dsl here no issues.

I'm in Kenilworth and we aint got nothing either.
 
ADSL syncs, but PPP doesn't work

Having the same problem in Woodstock.

ADSL syncs, but PPP doesn't work. I tried two different accounts as well as the Telkom Guest account but no luck.

I'm trying to get through to Telkom, and been hanging on the line for just over 30 minutes now. (I did buy a speaker phone especially for phoning Telkom so I don't have to hold the handset to my head!)

Is anyone in the Cape Town area NOT having this problem?

I'm currently using UniNet backup...
 
Hda problems early this morning. IS and SAIX accounts went down, soon after only one account would work at a time. Took about an hour to get both working.
 
still very much down in university estate, have to use my cell. no sign of anything changing. any news from saix/telkom?
 
Well I have been @ work the whole day, but I know my connection came back to life at about 13:00. So no idea whats cutting with the rest of you guys :/

I'm also in University Estate, however, yesterday ADSL was syncing, but couldn't do PPPoE.

Now ADSL isn't even syncing anymore!

There have been no problems in Plumstead at all, so maybe someone stole a Telkom cable from your area.:confused:

Maybe get hold of Telkom and see what they have to say.
