Last Monday(11/12/2017) the Huawei Enjoy 7S appeared at TENAA and just seven days later it makes its official debut. The midranger comes with Kirin 659 chipset, dual cameras and latest EMUI 8.0, based on Android Oreo.

The Huawei Enjoy 7S has 5.65” FullView display with Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The tall screen takes most of the front panel, sending the fingerprint scanner on the back.

The SoC has octa-core CPU, clocked at 2.36 GHz and Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. There are two memory combinations - 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage.

The camera setup on the back is 13 MP + 2 MP, the secondary one assisting in artificial background blur for artsy portraits. The selfie snapper has an 8 MP sensor. There is a 3,000 mAh sealed battery that can be fast-charged thanks to the Super Charge tech.

The Huawei Enjoy 7S comes in Black, Blue, Rose Gold and Gold/Champagne color for CNY1,499 ($226) for the 3/32GB variant and CNY1,699 ($256) for the more powerful 4/64 GB option. Pre-order is already live with the actual sales started on December 22.

The verdict

Just a month ago, we thought Huawei has hit the sweet spot with the Honor 7X, with pretty much unmatched value for money on a global scale, not confined to Southeast Asia. But the leading Chinese maker has outdone itself with the P Smart. Thoughtful trimming in the right places made it possible to keep the package up to par and drive the price down a little more.

Pros

Great ultra-wide display
Reasonable battery life
Dependable overall performance
Flexible and feature-rich EMUI 8 ROM over Oreo
Good all-round camera experience with nice portrait shots, plenty of modes and advanced manual controls available
Fast and accurate fingerprint reader

Cons

Disappointing portrait shots
No 5GHz Wi-Fi Support
No fast charging

We had very few niggles with the Huawei P Smart. It certainly lacks some connectivity options but makes up for that with a great all-round package with a wide screen, balanced performance and advanced camera skills. And for the price of around €200, we think the P Smart did well to tick the right checkboxes and even went beyond.

Any personal experiences with this phone?
It's decent , got it free with the P20 deal, but the Nokia 6(2018) launching next week is similarly priced but has a better build quality , better specs and even has gorilla glass and USB type C which the the P Smart doesn't have.

Thanks.looks like Nokia 6 is the phone to get.

What about the P Smart camera vs the Nokia 6 2018. Is the second camera worth it?

Check youtube for damir francs review of the nokia 6. Hes unbiased
Nice reviews. He put it's the reviews out there as an everyday experience rather than look at this one must buy feature you'll only use once a year.

Ive got this phone for about 4 months now, pretty good hey, almost identical in spec to my Xperia z5 it replaced, only fault i have with it is it gets a bit laggy at times and there is no NFC so gotta pull out the wallet and pay at supermarkets, and no fast charging as mentioned before.

Camera is pretty decent and the battery gets me thru a day with above average use.
