Cabinet slams Telkom rumours

They're screwed anyway - who cares what happens now? When they're broken apart and sold piece by piece at cost then the government can keep their share.

I think that Thabo should still be saying the same thing. What would it help anyway? All talk and no...anything :(

Have they, really? or have they just denied that the President said anything of the sort? Did the original journalist get it wrong or hear what they wanted to hear? Did someone in the President's office make an unauthorised statement. Did Mbeki really want Reuben out? Did the airing of the story get the President to change his mind?

What is the truth, does it actually matter?

I guess it serves as a warning to treat everything you see in the media with caution...
 
I don't see any comments otherwise in this article. At least there is no quote which says that Telkom would want September as their new CEO. So I stick to my original belief, and my previous post. It's too bad September isn't in the summer, he could use a darker tan.
 
I think they haven't done anything except make the appropriate noise so that the people are "happy"
