Hi Abe,
In regards to the UPS, we removed and recycled 20 x 12v 7ah batteries from it. They looked to me to be wired in series, so 240v from the batteries. I have been unable to find a manual for this particular model so unable to confirm this. You are welcome to have a look at the unit. I am in Midrand, work from home so most times are convenient.
