    Fibre was laid in our street by Metrofibre months ago. But Telkom still tells me "Fibre coming soon" and I am stuck with a 4MB line - now that I am working from home this is a real problem. How long before we can get a fibre connection??

    I waited until today, 1 April, which was announced as the day on which Vodacom will bring down the price of the 1GB bundle to R99 but it is still R149. Did I not understand it correctly?

    Haha - we do still make calls believe it or not - perhaps because we have elderly parentals. Kindly help me out with "Best bet is probably to port it to a VoIP provider. " - what is that? Can I port my Telkom landline number to another service provider? What about my Telkom email address?

We started requesting fibre 2 years ago. Now Telkom is threatening to cut off our copper too. They promise to deliver the LTE router...
