    That is what I am trying to do, for exactly the reason: to start a remote recording if not home - I sometimes forget to set a future recording of a show.

    Thanks for your detailed reply. The last step is the issue: no code ever shows up on my tv! I am clearly linked correctly as all my account details show up on the app, it's only the Remote Control that won't connect. When I go into Settings on the Explora everything, including Connectivity...

    I’m having trouble getting DSTV Now app to connect to my Explora decoder. At page “Login to TV” it asks for 6 digits that are displayed on TV. But no digits show up so can’t proceed.
