Missing the point completely. I never asked them to prevent the DNS change during the transfer. I never asked them to pull DNS records from the sky. What I expect as a paying customer is for them to say - Dear Mr customer, when the transfer takes place the DNS record will be set to route to us...
N0 they CAN make sure that the DNS is set correctly when they do the transfer. If they know it is a working domain and they know there is an active DNS record then ensure that it is updated once the transfer is done. Or at least inform your PAYING customer that they need to go and do it since...
