Out of curiosity, do you think DStv made the changes as part of their updates or to specifically stop the use of the Kodi add-on?
Can't find the previous comment to reply to, but if you are trying to stream from a web browser and are just getting a black screen, try setting the browser to desktop mode. Worked for me.
Only reason I use DSTV is for ease of use, all the content I watch is available elsewhere. I think it may be time for my life to be a little more difficult.
They do. I have heard many stories of people buying them who do not have a DSTV subscription. They are then upset when it stops working because it logs out and they don't have login details.
I would believe is in the thousands as many TV boxes are sold with the add-on already logged in to an account, with the selling point of them having free DStv access.
However I believe that the changes that MultiChoice are making are not particularly aimed at the add-on, as there are much more...
