When I load the meter number and then press enter, it just switches off. I Have tried connecting to other sockets in the house and I am even unable to check balance because when I put code and press enter,, it switches off. No error message, just turns off

Please help. I am having problems with my Hexing CIU EV500 electricity meter. My electricity went off yesterday, I tried to check balance but it would take numbers and then when I press enter, it goes off. I tried connecting to different socket in the house and still no change.
