Please help, having problems with loading electricity voucher

When I load the meter number and then press enter, it just switches off. I Have tried connecting to other sockets in the house and I am even unable to check balance because when I put code and press enter,, it switches off. No error message, just turns off

Not sure what type of meter or what provider but it seems as if the unit cannot connect to the main meter.
Have you tried switching everything off on your DB Board, then only turning the mains and the one switch connected to the plug you have this unit plugged into. ( Preferably a plug closest to the DB) So that nothing is causing interference.
And see if it connects

Also try replacing the batteries in the unit first and then see if it functions correctly.
