I'm glad your problem is fixed, luckily you could afford the extra costs.
I'm of the opinion that, when a service provider advertise a package for R479 per month with a speed of 10mbps that is what i expect to get. (With ups and downs, as you ooint out).
If i don't get what's been promised...

Router will be switched off, sim cancelled and then i'll use my MTN sim/mifi going forward...with a smile.

I've migrates from the R250 off-peak package to the 4G Unlimited option and can kick myself!

I agree. What i find most frustrating is the fact that i get no feedback, no reason, no answers....nothing!
It's not okay to be ignored by Rain whilst paying for the service!
Rain's service is very, VERY poor!
The speed on 4G unlimited is supposed to be 10mbps but you should be happy if it goes faster than 2mbps!!
