What you have said is entirely correct. The issue, however, is that Vox does not provide administrative access to its Mikrotik routers, and they insist on the use of their supplied equipment. When this is combined with call-centre agents who are often unable to offer adequate assistance, the...
Correct, well sort of. You will be able to add the device to the DMSS app on your phone using the serial number (which is over P2P). So your phone will be able to connect to it without port forwarding.
The same method will work on the NVR/DVR as well. P2P can be enabled under network settings...
Port forwarding is a bad idea when comes to devices such as CCTV systems.
If you need to get the calls from the gate station and indoor station, I would recommend removing it from the CCTV VLAN and give it internet access. No port forwarding required, as you can use P2P to configure it on the...
I would stay away from them. By looking at the amount of complaints on Hellopeter and some of their responses...they seem arrogant.

Nevermind, found a link to the official APK on gunsite.co.za:
The official APK can be downloaded here: https://wma.hadron.co.za/
A router between the two NVRs on a local network is overkill.
The IP configuration just need to be done correctly.
Forgot to add that NVRs don't poach or add cameras themselves. They only act on instructions.
Therefore I suspect the configuration was not done correctly on the IP address side.
From what you are describing, it sounds like the 2nd NVR is not connected to the network. Hence the reason why you can't pick it up.
Regarding the new cameras appearing on the 1st NVR, this indicates a configuration issue.
There is a new more secure method to get your cameras 'out on the...
