    Takealot has the Puma Velocity Nitro 5 on special for R1999. It's the lowest I've seen them. (And of course the price dropped a week after I got mine for considerably more). If you go for the red ones be aware that they are VERY bright. Tempted to grab a black pair now...

    I wouldn't say it's that bad. Although it's definitely more than the 10% recommended weekly increase. Some of it might be my own doing too where I extended runs I shouldn't have. Can't COMPLETELY blame it on Garmin alone.

    Extended my long run a bit to do 15K. Garmin seems to be ramping up my mileage too quickly and my shins are feeling it. Already did 46km this week and it wants me to do another ~8km today. Nope. Gonna take a rest day.

    LOL. Yeah, that's the hardest part when coming back. You immediately want to be where you were. Consistency gets you there though. I finally feel back to the level I was last year when I was at my fittest.

    Highly unlikely. From what I can gather the V14 was an improvement in all ways. They will also be marked down. Best to go try a pair to feel how they fit.

    The V14 will have thicker foam in the heel and forefoot so more cushioning, but the heel drop is lower. 14 is also lighter. If you really love the V13 check online for the same shoe. It's now the best time to grab multiple pairs since they'll be marked down heavily. And it's perfectly normal...

    I'm still using my X530's. I had an issue where my sub and speakers would make buzzing noises at random times. Turned out that the speaker cables where too close to an extension cord. Once I move the cables away a bit the buzzing stopped. Not sure if that might be useful info for anyone after...
