    Hi all. FYI, turns out it was the tensioner. I replaced the idler, tensioner with it's idler and the belt, and got the noise. I tried a few things and nothing worked until I put back the old belt and tensioner. this resolved the noise issue. After checking the tensioner I noticed the new one...

    Hi Champ. Thanks for the advise, I did check the pulley bearings with a stethoscope, and with my limited knowledge they sound okay I guess.

    I have a 2005 Corsa C 1.7cdti with a Z17DTH and have 2 issues at the moment.
