    To check the wheels... you disengage the motor from the gate. If it's old D5 just turn the knob. New smart D5 move the red latch Then move the gate with your hand right and left to get a feel of the wheels

    From a theoretical level the capacitor would act as a reservoir and would give instant power to compensate for the high current demand. However what would be the effect on the circuit i don't know.

    Yeah no problem. It's just a 12 volt from memory i think 2 amp power supply. You just need to use a voltmeter and adjust the potentiometer of the power supply to the exact required value. The amperage voltage will both be printed on the centurion power supply

    Hi Thanks. No corrosion at battery terminals. Voltage seems fine above 12. But it's two years old from new centurion supplied battery. There was slight corrosion at the doss terminal inside the board.
