Hey guys
Currently in the market for a 2nd gen jazz manual (2012-2014)
Has anyone actually had both the 1.3 and 1.5, is there a significant difference in the fuel consumption between the two? I am looking at the manual as I do not like driving autos, maybe one day but not yet, much prefer...
Yeah comfort spec is exactly the one I'm looking at
Multifunction steering wheel, full electric windows etc
If there is a base trend spec 1.3 for a good price then I'll go with that as well
Okay so the 1.3 has a cvt auto and the 1.5 doesn't?
If I am going to go auto then I want to stay away from the cvt as I've heard horrible things about cvts
One more thing, I am also planning on keeping this vehicle indefinitely. Hence why I am being so pedantic about what I am buying.
Will not buy another vehicle for a very long time after this unless it's a second vehicle
If the 1.3 is suitable for the highway/road trips then I have no problem going for that. I mainly drive 120-130 on the long road (N1/N2). If 1.3 is not suitable for that, then I'll gladly go with the 1.5 it's not an issue.
I don't want to take the 1.5 just for the sake of it, if 1.3 is lighter...
So I have not driven the 1.5 to be honest. Fuel economy means a lot to me, hence why I thought 1.3 would be better option.
Is the 1.3 suitable for occasional highway driving / trips away? If 1.3 is not, then I'll rather look for a good 1.5, provided the consumption difference is not too much...
Don't really mind the power of the 1.3, have driven a few already and it's all that I need. Was more concerned about the occasional long trip (once or twice a year) and if the 1.3 would hold up
Not really looking at an auto, much prefer manual cars for various reasons

I'm considering the 1.3 as I'll mainly use it for city driving, no...
