Currently in the market for a 2nd gen jazz manual (2012-2014)
Has anyone actually had both the 1.3 and 1.5, is there a significant difference in the fuel consumption between the two? I am looking at the manual as I do not like driving autos, maybe one day but not yet, much prefer manual!
I'm considering the 1.3 as I'll mainly use it for city driving, no highways and hardly any traffic. I will occasionally do a long trip (cpt to jhb) to visit family (about twice a year) and am worried the 1.3 will struggle on the long road. Would the 1.3 sit comfortably at about 120-130km/h?
Fuel economy means a lot to me, hence why I thought 1.3 would be better option, only concern is that the car might struggle on the long road when doing those road trips away. If 1.3 not suitable for long trips, then I'll rather look for a good 1.5, provided the consumption difference is not too much. I do have a very light foot if that means anything.
Not looking for any other car recommendations, kind of have my mind and heart set on the jazz (2nd gen) as I've done lots of research. Jazz makes the most sense. It's reliable, fuel efficient, the wife can drive it, and not forgetting practical, would be making lots of use of those magic seats!
