We've already used the "but you have an iPhone" argument... at the end of the day, for her, it's not necessarily about picture quality, but the experience... hence the budget... NOT forking out for an "experience"... she can do that herself when she's ready

Yeah... don't think it's possible to NOT sync the Garmin and have notifications... You'd do better to get a different "smart" watch and only use the Garmin when needed.
Thanks... replaced the connections like for like... -> CPU, Motherboard and Graphics Card (which I removed to test)... power cord is brand new...
