    Hi thanks for the tips, will keep in mind. I had tried every screen resolution and display sequence but in the end it was just the cable. I don't recommend anyone buying from no-name cellphone repair shop "stalls" of you know what I mean.

    Hi thanks, Incredible Connection was really unfriendly and not of much help, I went to Matrix and the very diligent technician there diagnosed within a few minutes that my cable was the problem and I bought a new one from him for R109 works like an absolute dream at home.

    Hi, thanks. Sorry only have 1 TV, 1 Laptop and 1 HDMI cable unfortunately. No errors by Display Adapters: "This device is working properly". Already checked drivers and they were up to date. Even installed older drivers and newest ones again. New laptop from Incredible Connection, not secondhand.

    Hi, thanks. It seems I have a different set of Fn keys and no "Cast" Fn key as you recommend. I do however have a menu to "Project Screen" as in my initial images.
