    Marking on wall close to where connection box was mounted. Repaired & moved to inside of wall.

    Repaired at our own cost by a reliable optic fibre contractor in our area. Took so long to find this guy unfortunately. Not sure what incompetent vumatel's reaction is going to be, but I will defend this guy all the way.

    Yesterday I learnt from a friend employed in the security industry that the circular spiral sign painted on the wall close to the box is a sign that internet access to alarm & security cameras are disabled. I believe this is gangsters trying to compromise home security systems. Glad my alarm...

    2 weeks later & the first sign of progress. Isp, mweb, sent notice that vuma's maintenance team was assigned.

    Thanx, yes 4g+lte router with ethernet is keeping it together in the meantime. I think it was vandalised by "tikkop" hoping there will be copper wires inside.

    No service since 24 August. Received 2 tickets from vuma already, but no repairs forthcoming. ISP queried, not helping.
