    You do not need the IP150. The Pi can simulate the IP150 if I remember correctly.

    I'm more thinking of the interface option, so leave legacy as is, and add konnected as the "smart" interface. Does this also remove the EOL resistors? What is PAI btw? I disqualified a paradox upgrade because of the firmware version issues with the IP150.

    No, there is a switch on my gate that closes when the gate is closed. This switch controls a relay on the gate control board. So I want to use the same switch on GPIO14 to know when the gate is closed. There is however 5vdc on that switch to close the relay. I already have 12vdc from the...

    I have my garage and gate on 2 sonoff SVs with tasmota. Now I want to use the GPIO14 as a switch to control open/closed state. There is a switch on my gate setup for this already but it has 5vcd driving a relay connected to it. Will it be ok to connect the GPIO pin to this?

    The UK switches are smaller, I think the dimensions are 89mm x 89mm. So that will not fit on a 102mm x 102 mm wall box.
