from smartkit.Alternatively.. where can i find/buy a flashing kit ?
Yep I have further refined the base plate a little to make things abit tighter and stronger. Hardest was finding a filament that had a good colour close to the Sonoff white.
R65 if anyone wants.
Cool will take some fresh ones, posted pics but that was months ago.
I wouldnt fill in a 4x4 to fit a Sonoff US, rather buy the square Sonoff UK.
Done.. now to wait for delivery. I'm excited to get it working with Apple Homekit
I also have about 4 So off T1s and haven't tried fitting them yet.
I'm also interested in anything that'll help give a cleaner mount. So the T1s don't fit a normal SA wall box properly?
I don’t think this thread sufficiently prepared me just how **** these things mount!!
Calypso, will it be a huge mission to only send me one to start? Depending on how it fits, I might have to abandon the T1’s and do something else with the lights...

Sure, will cost you more in shipping that what its worth if you live out of CT though.
What issues you having with fit?

The back plate is too small to fit straight on the 2x4, and I’m not fond of the gap all around the switch. Both these are addressed by your backplate by the looks of it?
Where in CT are you? I’m in Durbanville, Northern Suburbs
Do you have an Stl available for this? Also Northern Suburbs, will send you PM.
Also Northern Suburbs, will send you PM.
The UK switches are smaller, I think the dimensions are 89mm x 89mm. So that will not fit on a 102mm x 102 mm wall box.Cool will take some fresh ones, posted pics but that was months ago.

Installed Hassio and all the plugins (Tasmoadmin, Mosquito, Samba and a few others).
What do you guys do after editing the configuration.yaml - how do you restart? I go into Configuration, General and restart from there, but some of changes doesn't work - only thing that works is to unplug the Pi, but it feels risky and afraid I might corrupt something?
Also, I wanted to rename some of the Sonoff Switches to Lights, used the LightSwitch similar to this:
light:
- platform: switch
name: Christmas Tree Lights
entity_id: switch.christmas_tree_lights
But it doesn't do anything.
Any tips on how to get going would help - going to play some more with it over the weekend.

First thing I would do is to switch to the Lovelace UI, looks better and it's actually the default one now in the latest hass.io. Changes to the front end don't need a restart, just click the triple dot menu on the top right and click refresh.
To restart, there's a Restart option under, Configuration I think. It's right at the bottom of one of the pages.
You nee to rename things from their default in a “customize.yaml”.
Check on the docs it’s there.
Also an option in the GUI but haven’t used it. Might be easier in Hass.io to just try that as it’s more GUI driven.
