Ok cool, thanks for the feedback. One more question is the dyeness batteries then worth it since you can only use 5kw on a 10kw system since two batteries essentially cost 52k? I do see you can run them to 75% max discharge which means two would be equal to 6.4kw or am I wrong? Product spec...- MC-hammer

Hi Mike Sorry for replying on an old thread Im looking at installing 2 x dyeness bx51100 5kw battries with an 8kw deye inverter. But wondering about the 0.5c rating of the batteries. What has your experience been with your setup? Are they worth it at 26k a battery or should I look at a 1c 5kw...- MC-hammer

Best hybrid/solar solution
Budget wise anything between 120k and 200k. The place we moving to you has to pay R3k Eskom line rental since it's a small plot and don't see the point of paying Eskom 3k a month for line rental and then electricity usage on top of that when half the time we have load shedding. Best hybrid/solar solution
Hey Guys I'm thinking of adding a hybrid solar system, with battery backup to our home. Does anyone have advice on what the best and most cost-effective solution for batteries, inverters ext to look out for? Also, is Polytech batteries the best out there? Are Sunsynk batteries good?- MC-hammer
