I also have a P-07...18 rounds ready to go.
17 in the mag (installed the mag extension) and 1 in the chamber. 9 years and no problem.
But each to their own. Like you said, that will probably be enough to scare them off.
These guys aren't assassin's.Once somebody starts firing, they run like...
Fun Fact: A group of SA businessmen actually bought the original A1 cars in 2015 when it went under.
Iirc the original plan was to make a South African Cup with the different provinces taking on each other.
Later it was changed to an African Cup with different African countries taking on each...
Hi @PBCool please can you assist.
My ONT fell off my wall breaking the fibre strands (no Internet). Agents are asking for pictures but my responses aren't being uploaded with my pics.
Please can you assist as I need TT Connect to come splice a new connector urgently.
Also doesn't help that...
That was my gut feeling too but received quotes between R7700 and R9700.
Obviously would try haggle but even then looking at R6500.
Just want to see what others are getting because I might be wrong.
Would like to find out from other members that have installed a generator (the mobile ones, Ryobi, Grip etc) to their DB board how much it cost? (Preferably in Gauteng).
Received 2 quotes that include separate distribution board, cabling, transfer switch, surge protection, circuit breakers...
So I wired up a incandescent light to a plug using Earth and Neutral. The gardener was using the lawnmower with the generator. Plugged in the light and the light didnt come on at all which is great.
Getting a trusted electrician in to get some quotes and ask how they will go about installation...
Good idea. I did check with a multimeter last night and seems no voltage between Neutral and Earth which is great, but will make sure with the bulb test.
Just tested the voltages while running a load.
Got 0 volts between Earth and Neutral.
There may be some truth that the larger newer generators (well Ryobi in my case) may not be V-O-V.
On the Power Forum one of the electricians there confirmed that the larger Grip generator (manufactured by...
SANS regulations stop with the manufactures when the product is made. They are not responsible for what a person does with their product.
These generators are made to run off the plug points on them. Its the public that have converted them to running whole houses via the DB board.
Come to...
There are a few:

Apparently it is. If a VOV generator is connected the Neutral in your house becomes live and carries voltage.
I think the real danger lies with the circuit breakers. They only detect voltage fluctuations from the Live.
If you are getting shocked from a neutral wire or point, your circuit...
Unfortunately note. A lot of electricians on the Power Fourm say 1000's of generator installations in SA are in fact illegal.
Most of the generators we get were actually developed for the US market hence why if you measure the output on a lot of them you will get 115V through the Live and 115V...
