I have tried to activate esim on my Apple Watch through my primary number. But I got this error.,I have walked in couple of MTN stores but no one has been able to help. Anyone has similar issue , ?? How did you sort it out
Yes so I have esim activated on my MTN number and works gone and my other physical line for another country, but I can’t set mobile data plan on my Apple Watch.. none of customer care knows what am talking about.
So I finally managed to have esim activated through sim swap, on my iPhone. However I have not been able to activate it on my Apple Watch, it just says mtn data plan is not supported on this Apple Watch device. Customercare don’t seem to know the problem,

What did they do? Or what did you have to tell them so that they could fix it from their side? Also do you require physical Simcard to be be on the phone you are trying to activate the esim?
