MTN esim on Apple Watch

I have tried to activate esim on my Apple Watch through my primary number. But I got this error.,I have walked in couple of MTN stores but no one has been able to help. Anyone has similar issue , ?? How did you sort it out

Where did you buy your Apple Watch? Also, you seem to be getting a Vodacom error there. Do you have both MTN and Vodacom on your iPhones eSim and physical slot?

Is MTN the only network that works with Apple Watch ?
Do they offer an eSim prepaid option ?

Vodacom esim works fine on Apple watch, I have one. It's on contract - I don't think there is a prepaid option at the moment.
